Big celebration coming up!

InTransit dance company celebrates their 5 year anniversary at Verkstedshallen, Trondheim tomorrow. They will perform a few pieces and Stina Stjern will play a set. In other words: Verkstedhallen is the place to be if you are in Trondheim tomorrow night. Show time: 7 pm.

Mr. and Mrs. Marklund

I got married to my wonderful Arnbjørn J. S. Marklund this summer. We had the most perfect day with about 150 friends and family at Sjøåsen Hotel, Namdalseid, Norway. The party turned out to be quite a festival with bands like, Cody (DK), The Loch Ness Mouse, Silence the foe (my husbands former band), Electric ladyland (my sisters former band) and Beast of Bourbon (My fathers band) played all night. My former band "Supervixen" also played a few songs! It was amazing to share the stage with the girls again!

Celebrating "InTransit"

InTransit dance company is celebrating their 5th anniversary this fall. It'll take place at Verkstedhallen, Trondheim on October 9th 2010. Stina Stjern will play a set to celebrate 5 years of good friends and hard work. InTransit dance company is Line Strøm and Annika Ostwald. InTransit made the choreography and "starred" in my piece "Little Sister" last year.

We are about to wrap it up here in Taakeheimen. My plane leaves for Copenhagen tonight! It's been a wonderful week here in Oslo. Kyrre and Marcus are recording some backing vocals right now. We have now recorded 10 noisy and mellow tracks all together. Can't wait to share it with the rest of the world, soon, soon...

Fogging up in Taakeheimen

We are now about to fog up in Taakeheimen. Today is day three of recording, and we are about to get lost in the Stina Stjern mist. It is starting to sound really sweet, and I am really proud to be a part of such a wonderful work process. Kyrre is now recording some sixties guitar tracks, while I work on some new lyrics. In other words, a lovely spring day in Taakeheimen.

Tomorrow: Oslo

Ola, Kyrre and I have been working on some new songs this week. Going to Oslo tomorrow to record with Marcus again!! sweet
